Solid Impressions opened for business in 1997. Our founder, John Mantia, purchased a small printing operation in Addison, IL that was called Express Press. Express Press was located on Addison Road and originally opened in 1980. After purchasing Express Press, John changed the name of the company to Solid Impressions to reflect the new management and company image.
Solid Impressions quickly out grew the original space and moved to Fullerton Ave in 1999. In 2013, we doubled our space on Fullerton and added more staff and equipment. In December 2015, we expanded again and moved into our current space at 26W455 Saint Charles Rd, Carol Stream, IL.
Under John's leadership, Solid Impressions became the fastest-growing printing firm in the area. Most of our success and notoriety was a direct result of our superfast turnaround and our "on-time" guarantee.
At a time when most printing companies took two weeks to print an envelope order, Solid Impressions would commonly print envelopes within 24-hours. Our "on-time" guarantee was one of our most popular services.
